The person who flagged me said they were midi replaces, when they're not. I arrange my remixes in Finale Notepad, with the use of a MIDI keyboard, then export them as MIDI to FL Studio, whereupon I use mainly Edirol Orchestra.

Firstly, remixes are very welcome here. It's just that yours have little to no originality to them. There's nothing that makes them memorable or screams "MF-Greth". That's when people start raising some eyebrows.
Secondly, you think I'm JEALOUS of you? You couldn't be further from the truth. While you're busy "remixing" someone else's song, I'm busy composing my own ORIGINAL arrangements (and everyone knows that remixes do better than original stuff due to the nostalgia factor). While you're busy entertaining a bunch of youthful gamers, I'm busy collaborating/working with other musicians and people who matter (and I'm getting paid for this stuff).

Included in the ban PM was a statement that you can appeal the ban. A simple private message to me would have sufficed. You didn't have to make a public display out of it. Just saying your attitude definitely does not help your case. But you can message me at your convenience and we can start the appeal process.
Honestly, it never should have happened in the first place. I'm not interested. The fact that you didn't bother to ask me if I was using midi replace in the first place, or about my process, shows me you don't really investigate these claims. So no thanks. I'm out.

I'm actually really pissed off about this. So many people make game remixes. I can name dozens of users. Why you? Did you get on someone's bad side? This is fucked up.
yeah ng can be a bit of a jerk some time's they took down my art FOR NO REASON!!!! but its ok you have fantastic audio. i heard the jolly roger bay remix it was perfect but don't get all grumpy about it you are amazing and don't let ng tell you otherwise. you still have fantastic stuff and it's just important that you stay you. : )

You misunderstand me, @GUsername, @monochromemonitor. Normally, I wouldn't take the time to respond to posts about this incident anymore, but I think I need to clear up any misconceptions you have about the motives behind the report.
I reported MF-Gareth's remixes not because I dislike them, but because they violated the Audio Portal's terms of use. I had reason to believe that MF-Gareth's remixes were nothing more of an instrument-swap of a midi file created by somebody else. My word is not gospel, and the Audio Portal moderators had to review my claim and asses MF-Gareth's audio before making a decision. They chose to pull his audio, so they must have had suspicions about the legitimacy of his remixes as well. I didn't do this out of a need to make others suffer. As a member of the Newgrounds Audio Portal, and as a hard working musician, I feel an obligation to keep the portal free from cheap midi-rips of popular video game songs.
I would also like to draw emphasis to the following facts:
1.) MF-Gareth was banned for only ONE MONTH. After this, he could have started posting songs and remixes again. Him "quitting Newgrounds" was unnecessary.
2.) MF-Gareth could have refuted my claim. BrokenDeck informed him that he could appeal to his ban, but MF-Gareth ultimately must have not.
3.) MF-Gareth's music is still available to listen to on his Newgrounds page. Only his remixes were removed.
4.) You can listen to MF-Greth's remixes through other mediums. There are links on his Newgrounds page.
Thank you for understanding the situation, and my part in it.
